We wish to bring to your attention an important matter regarding the ongoing fit-out work in some of the flats within our society.
As many of you are aware, ongoing fitout works are being conducted in certain flats within our society premises. While we understand the necessity of such work, it is imperative that we adhere to certain guidelines to ensure minimal disturbance to our residents.
Effective immediately, the designated working hours for fitout activities within the society premises are from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. However, we have implemented a “silent hours” policy from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, during which no noise-related work is permitted.
Additionally, please be reminded that on Sundays and public holidays, no fitout work of any kind is allowed within the society premises at any time.
Despite our clear directives, it has come to our attention that there have been instances where certain workers have continued with noise-related work during the designated silent hours. This is a violation of the society’s rules and regulations and causes unnecessary disturbance to fellow residents.
We have already issued warnings to those responsible for such actions. However, we wish to emphasize that any further breaches of these regulations will result in immediate cessation of work and penalties imposed on the respective flat owners. It is the responsibility of each flat owner to ensure strict compliance with the society’s rules and regulations regarding fitout works.
We urge all residents to cooperate and ensure that such disruptions are minimized to maintain a peaceful living environment for everyone in the society.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Thanks & Regards,
Provisional Managing Committee
